Malaria in Indonesia

Malaria risk in Indonesia varies hugely by island, there’s little to no risk in Bali, Jakarta, and most of Java, but a higher risk in eastern Indonesia, including Papua and parts of Lombok. Antimalarial tablets may be recommended depending on exactly where you’re travelling, we’ll assess this and advise at your consultation. Bite-avoidance measures are recommended everywhere.

Common Health Risks

Beyond vaccinations, a few conditions are worth knowing about so you can take simple precautions.
