Malaria in Vietnam
Malaria risk in Vietnam is limited to certain rural and forested areas, with little to no risk in the cities, the Red River and Mekong deltas, and the main tourist spots like Ha Long Bay and Hoi An. Antimalarial tablets may be recommended depending on exactly where you’re travelling, we’ll assess this and advise at your consultation. Bite-avoidance measures are recommended everywhere.
